I have a backlog of these I have to scan. These four are actually earlier ones I forgot about (among the earliest I made), not super impressive compared to some more recent ones.

I like the idea that (like some of Brian Eno's work) they are "generative" pieces-- all I do is start the process and see what happens.

I usually only post either my own art, or anonymous "found" stuff, and this isn't anonymous or "found". . . .

So, Edan's new album ECHO PARTY, "limited edition of 1000 LPs-- all hand stamped by Edan." Lots of interesting variations. Here are some of the ones I had access to.

Three variations on a 3-layer stencil, based on a photo of me at age 12. These measure 9 x 12 inches.

(Don't believe the smile-- he wasn't really very happy back then.)

Found (as is) on the street in Boston. This is the photo that inspired me to start deliberately damaging my own photos (though I do remember finding others previously, none were as beautifully damaged as this one.)
